Republican Liberty Caucus Endorses Nathan Dahm

Republican Liberty Caucus Endorses Nathan Dahm

Broken Arrow—The Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) has announced their support for Nathan Dahm in his race for Oklahoma’s First Congressional District.

"The RLC is excited to endorse Nathan Dahm for Oklahoma Congressional District 1," said Matt Nye, Republican Liberty Caucus National Chairman. "Nathan stands for the principles that the RLC works to uphold. Nathan Dahm has a proven record of standing for constitutionally limited government while serving the people of Oklahoma. I truly believe he will bring that commitment to the US House of Representatives."

The Republican Liberty Caucus is a 527 voluntary grassroots membership organization dedicated to working within the Republican Party to advance the principles of individual rights, limited government and free markets. Founded in 1991, it is the oldest continuously-operating organization within the Liberty Republican movement.

Dahm said he was grateful for the Republican Liberty Caucus endorsement and added that his conservative coalition is growing because he has a proven conservative record, not just "campaign conservative" promises.

“Having the support from organizations like the RLC is an honor,” said Dahm. “The fight for liberty is not an easy road, and their support is a blessing. For far too long, the Republican caucus has been filled with what I call ‘campaign conservatives.’ These are the politicians who will do and say anything to get elected, promising you they are conservatives, and then turn around and recklessly grow the government.”

The National Rifle Association, Senator Rand Paul, and the Republican Liberty Caucus have all chosen to give Dahm their sole endorsement because he’s backed up his promises with action.

“I promised to defend the constitution and fight against big government,” Dahm said. “I delivered by repealing over 200 laws and regulations and stopped numerous bills with liberal agenda items like pro-choice policies and 2nd Amendment restrictions. I promised to protect our constitutional right to bear arms and I delivered by passing a law that would make Oklahoma a constitutional carry state. On June 26, I am asking voters to send a proven conservative to Washington, D.C. to fight for liberty and their individual rights.”

Oklahoma’s First Congressional District is being vacated by current Congressman Jim Bridenstine who was appointed to NASA by President Trump.
