Faught is a lifelong Muskogee resident, and graduated from high school in 2008 -- he was homeschooled the entire way by his parents, George and Becky.
On the political side, Faught has volunteered on numerous campaigns, is the chairman and organizer of the Muskogee Tea Party, and is involved in both the Muskogee County Republican Party and the Oklahoma Republican Party. U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Muskogee) was the doctor who delivered him at birth (one could say Jamison was doomed from his first breath to become involved to some degree in politics), and his father is State Rep. George Faught (R-Muskogee).
In addition to blogging, Jamison works in the family carpet cleaning business, and goes to church at Tulsa Bible Church. He has played the violin since 2000, and plays in his church's orchestra. Faught also enjoys reading and history.
