Schiller first CD2 candidate to hit the airwaves with TV ad

Chris Schiller seems to be an early frontrunner in the CD2 Republican primary, simply by virtue of having raised over a half-million dollars ($250k via personal loan) and being the first candidate with TV ads. Here's his press release:

Schiller Releases First Television Ad in CD-2

Chris Schiller, a community pharmacist and small businessman seeking the Republican nomination in Oklahoma's 2nd Congressional District, announced his first television ad today.

“As a pharmacist, I see the consequences of the Biden Administration’s policies in my business every day. Record inflation and skyrocketing gas prices continue to hurt families. And to make matters worse, America still depends on adversaries like China to manufacture essential products and services, including life-saving medicines. That’s just not smart,” said Schiller.

Schiller and his campaign intend to keep his conservative message up on television from May 3 through Election Day, June 28.

“President Donald Trump was exactly right when he said we need to put America First. That means bringing back jobs and manufacturing for critical needs Americans rely on. Whether it's our medicine or our energy independence, I will fight for Oklahomans and bring those industries home where they belong.”

Schiller concluded by saying his experience as a businessman and political outsider sets him apart and qualifies him to address this issue on Day 1.

“I hope this first ad gives voters a chance to know me better and trust me to fight for them in Washington. I don’t see very many people telling us the truth or fighting for what’s right in politics. I’ve never run for office before, but my experience as a businessman and pharmacist means I’m ready to tackle these issues head on,” said Schiller.

Chris Schiller is a Christian, father, husband, community pharmacist, small businessman, and committed conservative. Born and raised in Muskogee, Chris and his family still call it home today. Schiller is the CEO of Economy Pharmacy and has never run for political office. Oklahoma's 2nd Congressional District is currently held by Markwayne Mullin, who recently announced his run for the vacated U.S. Senate seat.

The district spans much of eastern Oklahoma and includes some or all of 28 counties: Adair, Atoka, Bryan, Cherokee, Choctaw, Coal, Craig, Delaware, Haskell, Hughes, Johnston, Latimer, LeFlore, Marshall, Mayes, McCurtain, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, and Sequoyah, as well as a portion of both Rogers and Wagoner Counties.
