"Oklahoma Back 2 Work" car-rally planned Wednesday at State Capitol, calling for re-opening of state

A group of concerned citizens and business-owners from across the state is organizing an auto-rally at the State Capitol on Wednesday, calling on the Governor and state leaders to re-open Oklahoma's currently shuttered economy:

Organizers are directing Tulsa-area attendees interested in caravaning to the Capitol to meet at the sports complex in Jenks just west of Reasors off of W 101st Street at 11:15am, leaving for OKC promptly at 11:30am.

The rally itself is set to start at 2pm Wednesday. Organizers urge attendees to decorate their vehicles to "encourage our leaders to get Oklahoma working", but also ask them to remain inside their cars in order to follow social distancing guidelines recommended by President Trump.

A similar rally is planned in Michigan, with other organizers working to replicate the effort in other states.

  1. Thank goodness you people are coming to your senses - stop the fear mongering and get back to work - yes, some people will die but thousands die every day in the U.S. of all kinds of things, very few from Covid-19. Rally, Rally, Rally.
