Washington, DC (June 18th) – Yesterday, State Superintendent Ryan Walters joined Second Lady, Usha Vance, and Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon at the White House for the historic launch of the White House Founders Museum. This launch by the Trump White House is an unprecedented, America-First initiative that will show students critical elements to the proud history of this great country.
After four years of an America-Last presidency, this Administration is prioritizing patriotism in our schools and Oklahoma is proud to work in lockstep with President Trump and Secretary McMahon. “I am so grateful that we have a President who honors American History,” said Walters. “Rather than peddle a woke, leftist, anti-American agenda, President Trump is proud to ensure students receive a pro-American education.”
The White House has partnered with the Department of Education and PragerU to create a first-of-its kind exhibit of all 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence as well as the key Ladies of the Revolution, in addition to 20 other pivotal events of the American Revolution.
