Trump endorses Mullin in U.S. Senate runoff

Over the weekend, former President Donald Trump endorsed Congressman Markwayne Mullin in his bid to replace retiring U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe. Mullin is facing former Oklahoma House Speaker T.W. Shannon in the August 23rd GOP runoff election.
Trump likes to pick "winners" and avoid risk, so Mullin was the easy choice for his endorsement, given that Mullin led the primary election results with 43.62% of the vote compared to Shannon's 17.53%.

As I've pointed out before, Markwayne Mullin is a liar, and does not belong in elected office.

Earlier in the primary, Trump endorsed incumbent Oklahoma Congressmen Tom Cole and Frank Lucas in their House reelection campaigns.
