I agree with Brecheen. Vote for Marty Quinn on August 25th!

TRANSCRIPT

Josh Brecheen: We are moving to a place in the next several days where you’re gonna be choosing who’s gonna be your next Insurance Commissioner, and I made up my mind many, many months ago. It’s Marty Quinn.

And why Marty Quinn? Because I’ve watched him for approximately a decade. He’s honorable. He’s honest. And when you look at people who serve in elected office, there’s really one thing I think that separates, more so than anything else, and that is: Are they honest? And do they do what they do because they really believe in it, led by conscience, not political calculation?

And I was working on some things that were really important to me, trying to make sure that the tax law was just in the way it was applied to Oklahomans years ago. And there was one person of the entire state legislature that I chose to take over the authorship that I had and hand it over to somebody who I knew was respected in the building, and who I knew would do the right thing and pick the fight because he’s ferocious, but he does it with gentleness. And you need somebody who’s going to do what they do in the Insurance Commissioner’s office because it’s really within them to do the right thing when nobody’s watching.

And so, that person, I want to highly encourage you: Go cast your vote for Marty Quinn in the next several days.

Marty Quinn: Thank you, Josh, very much. This race is about the consumers of Oklahoma. Josh has always been a fighter for the people of Oklahoma, and we want to do the same thing at the Oklahoma Insurance Department.

So it’s one of those things—we’ve got to have the help of the people of Oklahoma to get there. We’ve got twice as much experience in the race, more so than anybody else. We’ve got 12 years of legislative experience. My opponent has none.

It’s extremely important for us to use that experience to fight for the people of Oklahoma. Consumers are always going to win with Marty Quinn.

So I would ask you to make sure, on August 25th, that you vote for your friend Marty Quinn. And consumers will be the ones that we try to fight for and protect as long as we’re in office. Thank you very much.
