“Derek and Jennifer bring a wealth of experience and trusted relationships to our office,” said Governor Stitt. “Their understanding of the legislative process and commitment to serving Oklahomans will be invaluable as we continue working to make Oklahoma top ten in everything we do.”

Derek Sparks brings extensive experience in public policy and government relations. He later received his master’s degree from St. Andrews University in Scotland. He resides in Edmond and remains active in his community, building connections and friendships across Oklahoma.

She has also served under Governor Frank Keating and U.S. Senator Don Nickles, bringing with her decades of experience in government and advocacy. Most recently, Jennifer served as the Oklahoma Government Relations Director for the American Heart Association.

Shoop holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Political Science from Oklahoma Baptist University. She and her husband, Kimber, have three children and are active in their church and community, volunteering at their local school and serving on several boards and committees throughout Oklahoma City.
