McCall, Drummond, Mazzei, Merrick, and now Keating... this GOP gubernatorial field is getting more crowded and interesting as we draw closer to the end of the year. The real campaigning will intensify in the early months of 2026 leading up to the June 16th primary election.
Chip Keating Launches Campaign Announcement Video: “Oklahoma is at a Crossroads”
OKLAHOMA CITY (October 28th) - Conservative businessman, former Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, and former Secretary of Public Safety Chip Keating today released his official campaign announcement video, “Oklahoma is at a Crossroads.”
In the video, Keating calls for bold, conservative leadership to protect Oklahoma families, strengthen the state’s economy, and defend Oklahoma values against the radical left and career politicians.
“Oklahoma is at a crossroads,” Keating says in the video. “We need someone with the toughness of President Trump to stop the radical left and the political insiders. I’m the only conservative, small businessman and outsider running for governor, and I’ve been an unwavering supporter of America First since day one.”
Keating began his career with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol before building businesses in oil, gas, and real estate. As Secretary of Public Safety, he led Oklahoma through the 2020 riots— deploying troopers and the National Guard to keep families safe.
“While other states burned, Oklahoma didn’t,” Keating says. “We stood our ground and did what was right without hesitation.”
A father of three, Keating says his campaign will focus on defending families, expanding school choice, producing more American energy, and making Oklahoma a Made-in-America powerhouse.
“The career politicians won’t get us there,” Keating said. “I’m running to move Oklahoma forward— for our families, our values, and our way of life.”
