Oklahoma Freedom Caucus Expands With New Members
OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 22nd) – The Oklahoma Freedom Caucus is proud to announce the addition of five new members to its ranks, further solidifying its commitment to advancing conservative principles and defending individual liberties.
Congressman Josh Brecheen, a member of the Freedom Caucus in Washington, D.C., celebrated the expansion, stating, “As a Freedom Caucus member representing Oklahoma in our Nation’s capitol, there is no question that Oklahoma needs more freedom warriors in our own state capitol. In this spirit, I am proud today to announce the induction of five Oklahoma legislators into the newly formed Oklahoma Freedom Caucus.”
He continued: “Rather than just claiming to be a conservative, these new freedom caucus members were invited to join based on a record of conservative votes they have cast and their willingness to maintain that courage moving forward. I am honored to introduce the following new Freedom Caucus Members: Senator Lisa Standridge, Senator Kendal Sacchieri, Senator Julie McIntosh, Senator Randy Grellner, and Representative Jim Shaw. I ask all Oklahomans to take some time to thank these men and women for their courage to stand solid for the liberties we all cherish so much.”
In addition to their induction as Oklahoma Freedom Caucus members, Senator Julie McIntosh has been appointed as Treasurer and Representative Jim Shaw as Secretary, bolstering the caucus’s leadership team with their steadfast commitment to fiscal responsibility and transparent governance.
The Oklahoma Freedom Caucus remains dedicated to promoting limited government, individual freedom, and constitutional principles. With these new members and leadership appointments, the caucus is poised to make an even greater impact in Oklahoma’s state capitol.
