David Hill for Congress announced 100 members on Faith Coalition list

Hill Faith Coalition Tops 100 Christian Leaders

OKLAHOMA CITY — The David Hill for Congress campaign today announced their "Faith Coalition" has surpassed 100 members. Membership includes pastors and other faith leaders who serve individuals in Oklahoma's Fifth Congressional District.

"We are very excited about the momentum our campaign is building," stated businessman and conservative outsider David Hill. "But even more impactful is the willingness of these leaders to highlight the political, world issues important to the faith community and Oklahomans. They are helping spread the word that the rights of the unborn matter, that our religious liberties are paramount, and that Christians will engage in politics to be certain their voices are heard. I am proud that our campaign is focused on representing these beliefs that are so important to me and my family," stated Hill.

"Many of us in the faith community feel as though we have either been ignored or largely taken for granted," stated Paul Abner who has led the recruitment of pastors. "David Hill not only listens but espouses our world view. We are excited to have such a champion as David Hill," Abner continued. "As a coalition, we are committed to making certain Christians in central Oklahoma know they have an opportunity to elect a man of conviction in David Hill," Abner concluded.

Hill is no newcomer to the faith community. He and his wife, Shannon, founded Providence Hall Classical Christian School (now The Academy of Classical Christian Studies) when their children were younger. Nearly 10 years ago, David personally developed an iPhone app that has been used worldwide to bring people closer to Christ though prayer.

The Hill campaign also recently announced that the campaign has been endorsed by the Family Research Council, and that notable author and Christian historian David Barton will be speaking at a campaign event on June 18th.
