Elon frees the Babylon Bee from Twitter jail

He did it.

Elon Musk is a nonreligious pagan with somewhat libertarian politics who appreciates and is a fan of the Christian-based satire published by the Babylon Bee.

The Bee was suspended by Twitter in March for posting their article, The Babylon Bee's Man Of The Year Is Rachel Levine. Richard (aka "Rachel") Levine is the U.S. assistant secretary for health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and pretends to be a woman, to the idiotic applause and celebration of the morally unmoored.

Under previous management, Twitter required the Bee to delete their tweet as a requirement for account restoration. The Bee refused, sticking to principle and refusing to apologize for their Christian beliefs.

Musk is a longtime fan of the Bee, having retweeted or commented on many of their satire pieces, and even joined the staff of the Bee last December for a fascinating interview on their podcast (which you can also watch here).

The eccentric billionaire-entrepreneur started the afternoon off with this:
He made the following announcement shortly afterwards:
Twitter is still in a state of flux as Musk continues to try molding it into a platform more up to his vision, and there are still concerns about how the present state of censorship will change under his new direction, but for now one thing is certain: @TheBabylonBee is back.

P.S. In the extremely unlikely event that you read this, Elon, three things:
  1. I'm flattered that you visited.
  2. My hometown of Muskogee (hence Muskogee Politico) is not named after you, but sure would love a visit.
  3. You need to repent of your sins and believe the gospel - that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose again to provide salvation for all who truly believe. It is only through Jesus that you can have eternal life. Acknowledge Him as Lord and give Him your life today.
