Tomorrow is the Big 12 football championship game between the #5 Oklahoma Sooners and #14 Texas Longhorns. It's an unprecedented second meeting between the two teams, having only occurred twice, both times before Oklahoma was admitted to the Union as a state.
Kickoff is at 11:00am, and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
The always-heated rivalry got a bit warmer this week, after the Big 12 announced that usage of the "horns down" gesture by OU players or coaches could receive a 15-yard unsportsmanlike-conduct penalty.
So, since our players won't be able to do it, those of us who are OU fans will just have to pick up the slack. Boomer Sooner!
Also, it appears that the OU logo itself may need to get a flag thrown on it, as Horns Down is incorporated into the logo:
