OK Primary: Trump sets record vote for incumbent president

President Donald Trump has won the Oklahoma Republican presidential primary in historic fashion:

Presidential primaries featuring incumbents since Oklahoma moved from caucuses to primaries in 1988:
  • Bill Clinton got 76.23% in his 1996 re-election campaign.
  • George W. Bush received an even 90% in 2004.
  • Barack Obama pulled 57.1% in 2012
Donald Trump? He beat them all:
Election results from the Oklahoma State Election Board

With this performance, Donald Trump has set a new record for incumbent presidents in Oklahoma primaries.
