Long time incumbents got ousted.<br /><br />And there is a vacant State House seat that had 6 Democrat candidates.<br /><br />Democrat turnout was pretty heavy; 42% someone told me. Republican turnout improved from 13% in 2006 to 28% yesterday. Many still believe that 100 year old rumor that "Republicans cannot vote in the primary elections around here".<br /><br />P.S.
