Donald Trump, Jr. to Appear at Lamb Campaign Event
President’s Oldest Son to Offer Support
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, April 25, 2018 – President Donald Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump, Jr., will appear at a campaign rally and fundraiser May 2 on behalf of Republican gubernatorial candidate Todd Lamb. The event will be held at the Renaissance Waterford Hotel in Oklahoma City. Trump, Jr. and Lamb developed a friendship in 2016 when Trump, Jr. was a special guest at the Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt, an annual economic development and business networking event hosted by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.
“Donald Trump, Jr. and I forged a relationship two years ago when he attended the turkey hunt,” Lamb said. “I was impressed with his deep knowledge of both federal and state issues, particularly issues related to commerce and the economy. Like his father, our nation’s 45th President, he understands what it takes to grow an economy and create jobs. I very much enjoyed our time together then, and I am honored he is taking time from his family and busy schedule to attend my campaign event and offer his support.”
