Cong. Steve King Endorses Coleman for Congress

Congressman Steve King Endorses Andy Coleman for U.S. Congress

TULSA, OK:  Today, Congressman Steve King (R-IA) officially endorsed Captain Andy Coleman, a Republican, in his bid to be the next U.S. congressman for Oklahoma’s First District.  Congressman King is one of the leading advocates in the U.S. House for ensuring our nation follows the rule of law with respect to immigration.

"Congress needs more straight-talking, courageous conservative leaders like Andy Coleman,” stated Congressman King.  “Andy will help lead the charge in Congress to secure our border, restore immigration sanity, and hold the line on out-of-control government spending. I’m pleased to endorse his campaign and look forward to working with him."

“I am very grateful for Congressman King’s support,” expressed Coleman.  “He has been a consistent leader in the effort to secure our border and restore the rule of law."

Congressman King is just the latest in a long line of influential conservative leaders who have endorsed Coleman’s campaign.  That list includes former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, Congressman Jim Jordan, Congressman Ken Buck, Congressman Mark Meadows, Congressman Jody Hice, Congressman Tom Garrett, and Dr. Everett Piper.   Multiple conservative organizations also endorsed Coleman, including the Combat Veterans for Congress and the Madison Project.

Captain Andy Coleman graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy, served as a military intelligence officer in Iraq, and held leadership positions with conservative groups like the Federalist Society and Christian Legal Society.  In recent years, Coleman led field efforts to aid persecuted Christians in difficult countries for the Voice of the Martyrs, a Christian ministry based in Bartlesville. Andy and his wife, Liz, have three children and reside in Owasso.
